Synthetic Chemistry Postdoctoral Fellows-Center for Clinical Pharmacology, St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Washington University School of Medicine

The Majumdar lab is currently seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows in Synthetic Chemistry to work in our laboratory of Chemical Neuroscience. Our laboratory starts July 1st, 2018 at the Center for Clinical Pharmacology at St. Louis College of Pharmacy/Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.

A Ph.D. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry is desirable and experience in natural products chemistry preferred. We are involved in structure-based design of opioid receptor probes targeting disease areas of pain, alcoholism, and cocaine addiction. For recent publications, please see Nature 2018, 553(7688):286-288; J Med Chem 2016, 59(18):8381-97; Cell 2018 172(1-2):55-67 and PNAS 2011, 108(49):19778-83. We are currently funded by grants from National Institute of Drug Abuse and Department of Defense. Opportunities to collaborate in broad areas of Neuroscience and Pharmacology exist within the group as well with other faculty members at Washington University Department of Anesthesiology.
